Obama, the Muslim president, intentionally ignores Christianity as the official religion of America and dares to wish us all “holidays [that] shine with the light of the season.” From the “article:”

 

The official White House holiday card makes no mention of the word ‘Christmas’ and instead focused on Bo the First Dog based on the wishes of the First Family.

“From our family to yours, may your holidays shine with the light of the season,” read the inside of the card, featuring the presidential seal.

 

The front of the card features Bo the First Dog lounging by a fireplace. Holiday greenery is draped over the fireplace mantle. Holiday presents are placed on a table underneath a poinsettia – instead of a Christmas tree.

Wow. An all inclusive, non-exclusionary message from the President of a country which is meant to be free? I am shocked. 

I am even more shocked that the Christian Right is having a tizzy over it. Shocked I say.

I like Obama because of reasons.

I’m sitting here in shock because I was unaware that Christianity was our official religion. It’s the most practiced religion..but, that makes it the official one? We don’t have an official religion.

We have a freedom of religion, Christianity is NOT our official religion.

That was supposed to be sarcastic. Perhaps a bit satirical.
